Let’s face it, ladies, this is a man’s world. Regardless of how many strides the feminist movement has made, and they’ve been many, this is still a man’s world, which means that wherever you go, most fields are dominated by the male gender, and nowhere is this more apparent than in the business world.

Most boardrooms are undoubtedly stacked with men from one side of the table to the other and back so the atmosphere can feel a little intimidating, which is no lady’s ideal work environment. But rest easy girls, patriarchal power is mostly an illusion once you learn how to carry yourself as a woman that means serious business.

When it comes to how to carry yourself around stakeholders while wearing heels, is all a combination of brains and charms, knowledge and charisma, and knowing when to play coy and when to play hard. All these skills might not come intuitively for most women but you can learn them easily by reading all the savvy wisdom contained into these books about women in business.
